    • IMPORTANT: Please read the following advice BEFORE updating

      • The update is being released as a soft-launch. This means that new systems will be deployed with this version pre-installed. Appliances in the field with an update contract can have the update enabled by your STARFACE Partner.
      • We strongly recommend creating a backup of your current STARFACE system before updating to the new version. We recommend saving this back-up in a separate location.
      • The module "Gruppe mit Warteschlange" has been replaced by the new feature "iQueue". Customers with a current Queue which uses this module will need to transfer their settings to the iQueue in the group configuration options.
      • The setting "insecure=very" has been discontinued in some SIP provider profiles. Custom profiles which use this setting will need to change it to "insecure=port,invite".
      • Some components in the STARFACE Module system have been changed, as has the call handling. Custom modules will therefore need to be checked after the update has been installed and, in the case of the module no longer working, the module will need to be reconfigured or rewritten.

      • iQueue replaces the feature "Gruppe mit Warteschlange" which was available up to STARFACE version 5.8.2.0 ('Bellheimer') as a module
      • The iQueue can be activated by selecting the ringing strategy "iQueue" in the group configuration
      • A basic iQueue without configuration options is included for free
      • Premium versions of the iQueue are available for one or more queue groups
      • Configurable maximum queue length and waiting time
      • Configurable options in the case of non-availability
      • Upload of individual notifications and announcements
      • Calls can be distributed using "parallel" and "least recent" algorithms
      • Export of a queue report containing all calls as a CSV file
      • Automatic optional recording of agents' calls
      • A Queue Monitor pane is available in the Web Interface
