  • Please take note of the following advice before installing the update:
    • All products released before 31 March 2014 have been discontinued. STARFACE 5.7 and older are now considered End of Life. Only STARFACE versions newer than 5.7 and products released after 31 March 2014 will be supported and maintained.
    • Please note that approx. 1.2 GB of data is being downloaded during the update.
    • If you are updating a STARFACE Pro v2, please note that there must be at least 2GB of free storage space available.
    • If you are updating from STARFACE 5.8 or older, we strongly recommmend reducing the size of the call-list database with the STARFACE Archivierung module and using the fully-qualified format to ensure the modules continue to work.
    • If the STARFACE UCC Client for Windows is to be installed via the MSI package, the .NET Framework 4.5 must be installed first.
    • Should you be updating from a STARFACE version older than 5.6, the STARFACE needs to be updated to 5.6 or 5.8 before updating to STARFACE 6.2

    • A message is shown in the System Monitor should a telephone attempt to autoprovision its SIP credentials a second time and this is blocked by the STARFACE for security reasons.
    • A message is shown in the System Monitor if an email was unable to be sent. You have the option of re-sending the email directly from the System Monitor.
    • The check for the available storage which is run when starting an update will now warn at a more realistic level.
    • System-generated emails now have a more modern design and the text has been improved.
