    • Please read this before installing the update

      • All products with a release date prior to 31 March 2015 are discontinued as of 31 March 2017. STARFACE Versions 5.8 and older are affected. From 31 March onwards, we shall offer support and provide maintenance for STARFACE version 6.0 and newer and all products released after 31 March 2015
      • Please note that the update will download a significant amount of data.
      • Should you be updating a STARFACE PRO v2 appliance, please ensure that there is at least 2.5GB of storage available.
      • We strongly recommend reducing the size of the call data record with the module "STARFACE Archivierung", as well as ensuring that fully-qualified phone numbers are used in modules.

      STARFACE PBX/General New Features

      • Provider profiles which have been tested by SIPTRUNK.DE are now labelled "verified" in the line selection dropdown
      • An error notification is now displayed in the System Status area if the internal mail server cannot send emails due to low storage capacity
      • The Feature Code *4 deactivates the Asterisk feature code detection for 10 seconds. This can be used to send DMTF codes with stars ( * ) to the other party, for example to authenticate with a telephone conference system or Doorline.
      • A module function has been added to read the function keys of a user via the REST API
      • New provider profile: Swisscom Smart Business Connect
      • Provider Profile configuration: added an Extension Field to the profile manager
      • Provider Profile configuration: TCP can now be set as the transport protocol for SIP providers
      • The status of SIP line registrations is now monitored as will be restored if needed
      • A new endpoint for the REST API has been added: Read phone numbers assigned to users ( GET )
      • Provider action codes can now be added to a quick dial key

      • It is now possible to search for combinations of first and last name in the address book
      • The system version is now checked before moving a licence. This is to improve version compatibility
      • Filenames are now checked for unsupported characters prior to being uploaded, in order to prevent future issues
      • The user import feature now supports fully-qualified telephone numbers in the CSV file
      • Emergeny call improvements: Emergency calls will now be correctly routed if a line prefix is configured and the emergency number is configured without the dialling prefix
      • Emergeny call improvements: It is now no longer possible to assign configured emergency numbers as internal phone numbers
