    • Highlights

      • Protection against a security vulnerability in Yealink's autoprovisioning service: Yealink phones that are already provisioned will not be provisioned again with phone credentials. Please note that, for the measure to work, all Yealink phones need to be restarted after the update.
      • The new STARFACE Compact SIP appliance is now supported.
      • VM-Server licenses are not longer lost when the virtual hardware is changed.
      • Gigaset N670: The Gigaset N670 Single-Cell-DECT-System is now supported.

    • Important Information about this Release

      • When updating to STARFACE 6.7.1, please note that the update requires a minimum of 4 GB of free space.
      • The UCC Client for Windows will no longer support Windows 7 from 31 December 2019. From 1 January 2020, we will only be providing support and maintenance for the UCC Client for Windows if it is run on Windows 8 or newer (or the respective Windows Server version (from Windows Server 2012 or newer)).
      • Please note that we have combined two permissions regarding the visibility of caller IDs to a single permission. Please check if any change of configuration is necessary. Further information can be found here.
      • We recommend reducing the size of the call data record with the module "STARFACE Archivierung", and to ensure that fully-qualified phone numbers are used in all module configurations.
      • If you are using STARFACE Connect, please check the line routing settings to ensure that it is using the highest routing priority.
      • Before you install you should check if your provider profile has been updated on SIPCHECK.COM.
      • It is necessary to use the latest version of the UCC client in combination with the latest version of the telephony system

      • User Light: Users with the license type "User Light" can now no longer log in to the web interface, the UCC Clients and the REST interface in accordance with the product definition.
      • User Light: The license type is now displayed in relevant sections of the Administration Panel.
      • User Light: A Wizard will aid the initial assignment of User Light licenses to the correct users after the update.
      • User must now change their password on their first login.
      • The phone numbers of external telephone conference participants are now detected more accurately when line prefixes and provider service features are used.
      • Chat messages can now be sent from modules to users.
      • The STARFACE will now check for new updates during the night of Monday to Tuesday.

      • Fixed: Changing a user's language did not change the language of voice prompts and announcements.
      • Fixed: Calls from a Mobile Client for Android could not be forwarded in the UCC Client for Windows.

      • Fixed: Users deactivated due to insufficient licensing were only fully reactivated after a server restart when licenses were added to the system.
