    • This Service Release splits the "Pickup" permission into caller visibility during ringing and busy phase.
    • Some changes have been made to improve the experience with Snom phones and cloud systems.

  • Important Information about this Release
    • When updating to STARFACE 6.7.2, please note that the update requires a minimum of 4 GB of free space.
    • The following Snom phones will be considered "End of Life" by STARFACE as of 30 June 2020: 710, 720, 760, D710. They will continue to be autoprovisioned, however STARFACE will no longer support or maintain these devices from this date onwards.
    • The following Gigaset PRO phones will be considered "End of Life" by STARFACE as of 30 June 2020: DE310 IP PRO, DE410 IP PRO, DE700 IP PRO, DE900 IP PRO. They will continue to be autoprovisioned, however STARFACE will no longer support or maintain these devices from this date onwards.
    • The following appliances will be considered "End of Life" by STARFACE as of 30 September 2020: Light v1, Light v2, Light v3, Pro v1, Pro v2, Enterprise v1, Enterprise v2, Advanced v1. They will not be supported by STARFACE any more. Furthermore, software version STARFACE 7 (expected at the end of 2020) will not run on several of these appliances.
    • We recommend reducing the size of the call data record with the module "STARFACE Archivierung", and to ensure that fully-qualified phone numbers are used in all module configurations.
    • If you are using STARFACE Connect, please check the line routing settings to ensure that it is using the highest routing priority.
    • Before you install you should check if your provider profile has been updated on SIPCHECK.COM.
    • It is necessary to use the latest version of the UCC Client in combination with the latest version of the telephony system.

  • New Features

    • Mobile Client for iPhone: Send encrypted call data with push message in order to comply with Apple's new Push Service rules.
    • Cloud: Some network settings cannot be changed for cloud systems in order to prevent misconfiguration
    • Fanvil: SIP credentials will be provisioned only once. For all further provisionings, the phones must be enabled first in the admin panel.

  • Known Issues
    • Yealink phones T58A and VP59 will display icons for the phone's address book and call lists. We will remove these icons with an upcoming release.
    • The German language package for the Snom D120 is not currently available.
