Liebe Community,
aufgrund der Resonanz auf dem STARFACE Kongress 2021 und aus den Partnerumfragen haben wir uns dazu entschlossen, das STARFACE Forum stärker zu unterstützen, um den Kontakt zu euch, zu unserer Community zu verbessern.
Aus diesem Entschluss ist der folgende Plan entstanden:
Ein neues Forum schaffen
Über viele Jahre hinweg hat uns die Foren-Software vBulletin gute Dienste geleistet. Da sie aber ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist, werden wir das Forum auf eine neue und modernere Plattform umziehen. Die Wahl fiel auf das WoltLab Suite Forum.
Mit diesem Schritt wird auch das Design aktualisiert und an das neue Partner-Portal angeglichen.
Das Ziel ist, ein modernes, übersichtliches und intuitiv bedienbares Forum zu schaffen, das auch auf mobilen Geräten und verschiedenen Plattformen optimal genutzt werden kann.
Ein Community-Management aufbauen
Wir werden das Forum auch personell unterstützen. Zum 01.12.2021 haben wir mit Anastasia Raevski eine neue Mitarbeiterin im Team der Customer Service Abteilung begrüßen dürfen. Anastasia wird als Community-Managerin das Forum moderieren, eure Fragen und Anregungen an die jeweiligen Fachabteilungen adressieren und Rückmeldungen an euch weitergeben.
Natürlich werden auch die anderen Kollegen, die Ihr teilweise schon seit vielen Jahren kennt, weiterhin ein aktiver Teil der Community bleiben.
Die Forenstruktur aktualisieren
Mit den Known Issues ist neben den Releases in den letzten Monaten ein weiterer Forenbereich mit offiziellen Bekanntmachungen entstanden. Dies werden wir intensivieren und in einem neuen Unterforum bündeln. Das Unterforum wird voraussichtlich „STARFACE Official“ heißen. Threads in diesem Forenbereich werden grundsätzlich zweisprachig (Deutsch und Englisch) formuliert, damit auch unsere internationalen Partner hier eine Anlaufstelle für Informationen vorfinden.
Neben den bereits bekannten Themen wird es auch weitere offizielle Bereiche wie z. B. Ankündigungen, Störungsmeldungen oder aktuelle Support-Themen geben.
Die Forenstruktur wird nach und nach bereits in diesem Forum erstellt, wie man an diesem Beitrag und seiner Position im Forum sehen kann. Sie kann sich aber auch noch ändern, wenn es erforderlich sein sollte.
Dieser Thread soll auch dazu dienen, euch über die Umzugspläne auf dem Laufenden zu halten. Er wird regelmäßig mit Neuigkeiten aktualisiert. Wir freuen uns natürlich auch über euer Feedback und Anregungen für das neue Forum.

Dear Community,
due to the feedback at the STARFACE Congress 2021 and from the partner surveys, we have decided to support the STARFACE Forum more strongly in order to improve the contact to you, to our community.
This decision has resulted in the following plan:
Create a new forum
For many years the forum software vBulletin has served us well. However, since it is getting a bit outdated, we are going to move the forum to a new and more modern platform. The choice has fallen to the WoltLab Suite Forum.
With this step, the design will also be updated and matched with the new partner portal.
The goal is to create a modern, clear and intuitive forum that can also be used optimally on mobile devices and different platforms.
Establish a community management
We will also support the forum in terms of personnel. As of 01.12.2021, we have welcomed Anastasia Raevski as a new member of the Customer Service Department team. As Community Manager, Anastasia will moderate the forum, address your questions and suggestions to the respective departments and pass on feedback to you.
Of course, the other colleagues, some of whom you have known for many years, will also remain an active part of the community.
Updating the forum structure
With the Known Issues, another forum area with official announcements has emerged in addition to the releases in recent months. We will intensify this and bundle it into a new subforum. The subforum will probably be called "STARFACE Official". Threads in this forum area will always be formulated in two languages (German and English) so that our international partners will also find a place to go for information here.
In addition to the already known topics, there will also be other official areas such as announcements, fault reports or current support topics.
The forum structure will gradually be created already in this forum, as you can see from this post and its position in the forum. However, it may still change if necessary.
This thread will also serve to keep you informed of the relocation plans. It will be updated regularly with news. We also welcome your feedback and suggestions for the new forum.
